About Bloey
Bloey is a social-impact enterprise that uses knowledge, technology, creativity and partnerships to help people, organisations and communities learn, grow and thrive. Bloey responds to practical gaps that limit opportunity, particularly among emerging organisations, children and young people, women and girls, and underserved communities.
The company combines professional services with innovative social-impact initiatives, creating a flexible platform through which ideas can be tested, partnerships built and practical solutions developed.
People, organisations and communities with the opportunities and capabilities to thrive.
To equip people, communities and organizations with the knowledge, skills, practical support and resources they need to thrive.
What We Do
Bloey supports emerging, community-based and youth-led organisations to strengthen their capacity, identify and pursue funding opportunities and make better use of technology. Support may include resource mobilisation strategies, proposal development, opportunity mapping, organisational capacity strengthening, training, mentoring and practical use of AI and other digital tools.
Bloey develops and supports practical initiatives addressing challenges affecting women and girls, particularly in underserved communities. Areas of interest include menstrual health, reproductive health information, fertility awareness and linkage to appropriate health and specialised services.
Bloey provides a platform for mobilising people, partnerships and resources to respond to identified community needs. This may include periodic support to vulnerable children and families, community giving initiatives and targeted assistance to communities affected by climate-related and other shocks.
Bloey promotes fun, inclusive and practical learning opportunities for children and young people, particularly those with limited access to technology. The approach brings together digital learning, reading, educational games, creativity and hands-on activities such as drawing, basketry, knitting and crochet. Technology is used as a tool for exploration and learning alongside traditional creative skills, teamwork, problem-solving and entrepreneurship.
Our Approach
It can start by giving a small organisation the tools to compete for its first grant, introducing a rural child to a computer for the first time, linking a woman to information or services she needs, or mobilising people to respond to an immediate community challenge.
We therefore emphasise practical solutions, learning, innovation, partnerships and locally grounded action, while building models that can grow and be replicated over time.
Our Promise
Bloey creates opportunities for people, organisations and communities to learn, grow and thrive.
